Who we are

AURA is a guided breathing service delivered over the web. These terms cover your use of it. By creating an account you accept them.

AURA is not medical care

AURA is a wellbeing tool. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition, and nothing in the app is medical advice. Paced breathing can make some people light-headed. Stop if you feel unwell, and speak to a clinician before starting if you are managing a heart or respiratory condition, are pregnant, or have a history of fainting.

Your account

You need an accurate email address to create an account, and you are responsible for what happens under it. Keep your password to yourself. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.

You must be at least 16 years old to use AURA.

Plans and payment

The Free plan is free. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through our payment providers. Prices are shown before you pay and are charged in the currency displayed at checkout.

Cancelling stops the next charge. You keep the plan you have already paid for until the end of that period, then move to Free. We do not refund part-used periods unless the law where you live requires it.

Current pricing: Pro at $9.99 a month or $71.88 a year, Premium at $19.99 a month or $143.88 a year. We will tell you before a price change affects you.

Acceptable use

Do not break the service, work around its limits, resell access, or use it to harm anyone. We can suspend an account that does.

Your content

Your sessions, mood entries and preferences belong to you. You grant us only the permission we need to run the service for you: storing that data, processing it to produce your stats and suggestions, and backing it up.

Availability

We aim to keep AURA running, but we do not promise it will never be unavailable. We can change or retire features. If we retire something you paid for, you can cancel and we will refund the unused part of your period.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion is permanent and removes your sessions, moods and preferences. We can close an account that breaches these terms.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, AURA is provided as is, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Changes and contact

If we change these terms we will post the new version here and update the date above. Continuing to use AURA after that means you accept the change. Questions go to the support address listed in your account settings.
